Ingredients
- 1 tsp olive oil
- pinch of cumin seeds
- pinch of coriander seeds
- pinch of turmeric
- pinch of chilli flakes
- pinch of ground cinnamon
- pinch of paprika
- ½ red onion, finely chopped
- ½ sweet potato, peeled and chopped
- 200ml/7fl oz vegetable stock
Method
In a pan, heat the oil over a medium heat and add all the spices. Add the onion and sweet potato and cook for 3 minutes. Add the vegetable stock.
Turn down the heat and cook for a further 8-10 minutes.
Leave the soup chunky and serve in a large bowl.
