Quick recipe finder Cider, rum and cinnamon punch

Ingredients
- 6 large apples, diced
- 1 litre/1 pint 15fl oz cider
- 250ml/8¾fl oz dark rum
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 3 star anise
- 1 litre/1 pint 15fl oz water
- 100g/3½oz sugar
Method
Place all the ingredients in a pan, except the rum. Cook slowly for one hour 15 minutes, then add the rum. Serve warm or cold.
