Quick recipe finder Chorizo guacamole
As if lime-flavoured guacamole wasn’t tempting enough, Nigel Slater adds some chopped chorizo sausage to really get the taste buds going.

Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 lime, juice only
- 3 tbsp roughly chopped chives
- 150g/5½oz cooked chorizo sausage, roughly chopped
Method
Scoop the avocado flesh into a mixing bowl.
Squeeze the lime juice over the avocado to prevent it from discolouring.
Lightly crush the avocado with a fork.
Skin and roughly chop the chorizo.
Roughly chop the chives and then fold everything together with the avocado and serve.
