Ingredients

• 225g/8oz dark chocolate, broken into pieces
• 80g/3oz caster sugar
• 120ml/4fl oz double cream
• 60ml/2fl oz hot water

Method

1. Put all the ingredients into a thick-bottomed saucepan.

2. Put on a gentle heat and stir until the chocolate has melted and the sauce is hot.
