You’ve heard of chocolate avocado mousse – now try the smoothie with super avocado, banana, honey and cacao.
Each shake provides 158 kcal, 3g protein, 11g carbohydrate (of which 9g sugars), 11g fat (of which 4.5g saturates), 4g fibre and 0.5g salt.
Ingredients
- 1 small peeled ripe banana,chopped, frozen
- 3 tbsp cacao powder
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1-2 tbsp honey, preferably raw honey, to taste
- tiny pinch salt
Method
Blend all of the ingredients and 750ml/1 pint 6fl oz cold water together in a food processor until smooth. Add more water to loosen, if necessary.
To serve, pour into small glasses.
